About us
We are a local tour operator that invites visitors to discover and explore Curarrehue in a simple and close way, sharing with Mapuche and rural families in their daily activities. We offer the opportunity to immerse oneself in a living culture that is expressed through crafts, traditional weaving, ancestral games, and local cuisine, supplied by the community's own gardens and the generous fruits of the native forests of La Araucanía.
The team at Rutas Ancestrales Araucarias (RAA) consists of 7 people. Most of them were born or raised in Curarrehue, while others came to the village, fell in love with it, and decided to stay and become part of this team to contribute from their various areas of expertise.
In addition, 30 Mapuche rural families are part of our network of partners, each offering services and products linked to their cultural heritage, many of which come from techniques and traditions passed down from generation to generation.
